The reasoning behind me getting involved in the medical transcription profession is two-fold. First, I have had a strong desire to give back to the community, or you could say that I’ve want to improve society. By allowing the students get a real world perspective while training online, I believe that I would get a better understand of how the profession works compared to that taught in a traditional classroom setting. I speak from personal experience when I state this fact that education from the tradition teaching methods do not compare to the online medical transcription courses offered by Future MT. As I was working on the B.A. degree in Anthropology, it seemed that a few of the course that I took seemed to be disconnected from real world situations. So as students like myself entered the workforce, we were under qualified for many positions. I’m pretty positive that many of the courses for medical transcription taught in similar settings are quite similar to that which I have experience. Also, it would less stressful to get trained in an online course compared to the classroom, not to mention the cost to commute to the college or university would also be taxing on ones funds for education and living expenses. With all the factors that I have mentioned, it is my opinion that Future MT would provide a great opportunity to those that are willing to challenge oneself. I am willing to face that challenge if offered the chance and the sky’s the limit when considering how high one would want to climb the opportunity ladder. The ability to improve oneself and the quality of company is a virtue and I have the drive to do both.
